We have always enjoyed aquariums and so when we heard the state's largest aquarium would be nearby while we were vacationing we decided to take the trip to Tampa and spend some time fish watching.
The area of city where we were was fun - we enjoyed lunch at a restaurant in walking distance and stayed the evening to see the fireworks from the observation area of the aquarium.
It was this day that I started to realize, OMG, we haven't lost Dylan yet. He stayed with us the entire time we were there which was like six hours or more. This is a big deal for us. Once at silver dollar city he wandered off four times in one day.
We went through the aquarium twice because we had so much time left over after the first go through.
It was a nice place with lots to look at and the kids still get excited over sea life. We saw an exhibit about the different ocean color and what it means when the water is more green vs. blue, etc.  This is when Dane declared he wouldn't be getting back into our algae filled ocean at the condo.
I love all the color in an aquarium.
When the crowd started dying down and we waited in front of the big shark tank watching the fish enjoying the tranquility, Dylan gave us the best quote of the trip. "It's too peaceful in here, lets get out of here."
