We spent the weekend in Southeast Missouri where the mosquitoes are arguably evil and the peaches are heavenly.
My group of friends who call ourselves the OBAMA's (remember the contest?) had a sleepover. It had been a while since I saw 3am on the clock. We had a lot to discuss! The last time we were all together was at a funeral. There have been three funerals in the last three months actually. We don't get to be in the same place often enough so we coordinated our schedules and planned an old fashion bunkin' party.

First we made a visit to a local beauty pageant to surprise our friend Laurie who was accepting an honorary award for her parents who were killed in a motorcycle accident in May. Her parents were heavily involved in the community and the award was well deserved.
While there we were able to see and hold our friend Heather's new baby girl. Heather is our friend who passed away during labor and delivery of Chloie in June. She is a sweet baby and her Aunt is doing a fabulous job caring for her.

We met up at Kim's house for our sleepover and the next day Kim's friend Robin opened her home and pool to us so we did some lounging in the pool on Saturday.
The boys spent the weekend at their Aunt Anita and Uncle Mark's hanging out in the pool, playing video games and having a Home Alone marathon. Randy caught up with some friends. So basically we went on a family weekend and none of us saw each other much. We all hung out at Anita and Marks late Saturday. Mark made us some fabulous burgers on the grill.
It was a fun weekend. Now, I gotta get back to my peaches.

This weekend and gno was so much fun!!!! I am so glad we could do it!!! Loved the entry and pictures. Enjoy those good peaches.
