I made three baby blankets today to go in baskets for my charity. I'm experimenting to see how I can get blankets cheaper than what I can find in a store. I thought these were a cute alternative to store bought blankets. They are very warm and will work great during Kangaroo Care. Now that I know I can do this, I may make some different styles while fabric is on sale at Hobby Lobby.
My sisters have inspired me to experiment with some crafting on top of my normal scrapbook hobby so this is my first project. More to come...

Do you prefer new blankets or can they be used? I could send some with Michele sometime? After 3 babies I have some I could pass along.
