My devilish sweet faced child has an outer ear infection (a.k.a. swimmers ear). This was a first for us. My boys don't complain much when it comes to pain so when one is yelling out in pain I take it seriously.
After our pediatrician diagnosed the infection Dylan says, "Can you give me a clue or evidence?" I laughed so hard. To Dylan's satisfaction the doctor scraped some puss out of his ear for his evidence.
Then Dylan was told no swimming this week.
No swimming!
Yep, one week 'til he can do this again.

Wow, I hope that doesn't become an ongoing problem for him. A week spent out of Donna's pool is an eternity for a kid!
