This was my view when I pulled into my driveway tonight - our first sign of spring. Today was the first day for it to bloom in 2011. We planted this magnolia tree when our dog, Darby, passed away. We spread her ashes into the root of the tree when planting it. She passed away exactly six years ago today.
She was our baby before we had children.
This was her with a fresh haircut just a few months before she passed away.
