Dylan's class went on their big field trip to Lake Avalon in Bella Vista.
They learned about animal tracks and made a bandanna to take along with them on hikes to check which animal might be near.
They went on a bird watch and identified birds using binoculars. I missed getting a picture of the kids with their bird books and binoculars.
They learned about the dangers of littering and when Dylan saw this...
he yelled, "Bud Light is my favorite beer....(long pause)...bottle cap!"
The kids learned about how soil is made and then got to play in the soil.
Their favorite part was fishing.
Dylan baited his own hook several times.
The kids got really excited when they got to see lots of different fish up close.
It was a nice ending to the field trip.
