In honor of Dane's Great-Grandfather who fought in World War II, Willis C. Glass, Dane made a poster for a school project to be hung outside the school yard for Veteran's Day.
Willis "Tuney" Glass was inducted on November 30, 1942 and honorably discharged in 1945.
He earned many awards: WWII Victory Medal, American Defense Service Medal, American Theater, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Campaign Medal and Victory Service Ribbons, the Army Good Conduct and Soldier's Medal for Valor and one overseas bar plus the Purple Heart.
Today we honor Tuney and all Veterans today!
