My friend Lisa has a son battling a rare form of Leukemia. He is just past year one in a 3.5 year treatment plan. He is suffering some set backs right now and could use some extra prayers. Her son's name is Brayden and you can read all about their journey here. He is being admitted into the hospital for his second blood transfusion within the last month, the first of which did not go well. He had a bad reaction to the transfusion and was hospitalized for days. He is currently in strict isolation. There are concerns with why he is needing transfusions at this stage in the treatment. She should be updating her blog soon with the latest but I didn't want to wait to ask for prayers for her family.
Lisa is going through one of the most difficult things a mother can go through and has kept such a positive attitude for her son. A journey as long as theirs can take a toll on a person. I ask that you not only pray for Brayden's health but strength and endurance for Lisa.
